When your pet is in need of surgery, Circle of Life Animal Hospital makes their exceptional care our priority. We provide a range of surgical services including traditional soft tissue surgery, spay and neuter, tumor and mass removal, foreign body removal, and more. For in-depth orthopedic surgery, we have relationships with local orthopedic surgeons and can provide referrals if needed.
When surgery is recommended for your pet’s needs, our veterinarian will discuss all of the details of the surgery with you to help you make an educated decision about your pet’s care.
During your pet’s surgery, the Circle of Life Animal Hospital team makes your pet’s safety our primary concern. For this reason, we provide complete surgical monitoring throughout your pet’s surgical procedure in order to ensure that they are safe. You may be surprised to know that your pet’s anesthetic monitoring is the same as in the human hospital! EKG monitoring, continuous blood pressure readings, heart and respiratory rates, and even the percent of oxygen in your pet’s lungs are continuously monitored during each pet surgery. We also utilize the Bear Hugger, innovative technology which allows us to keep your pet’s body temperature maintained throughout their entire surgery and recovery period!
We understand that surgical expertise does not stop with the pet surgery itself; safe anesthetics and complete monitoring by a certified veterinary technician during all anesthetic procedures is the only way we practice so your pet has a smooth and happy recovery period.
If you have questions about your pet’s surgical needs, please contact us today and we'll be happy to help you.
