Curbside Service Protocol

At Circle of Life Animal Hospital, we believe our services to be of value to our community! With this in mind, we are continuing to operate during our regular business hours however our lobby is closed to the public for the time being. We are not limiting the services we provide but instead shifting gears for all services to be offered in a Curbside manner. Masks are required to be worn when you are in contact with our staff and you may rest assured knowing that every individual of the COLAH team is wearing a mask. This is for the protection of our staff and our COLAH Family!


Doctor Exams:

  1. Park curbside and call us (813-908-5433) to check-in!
  2. A technician will meet you by our door to leash your dog and have you remove any leashes or halters they were previously wearing, or take your secure carrier, and bring them inside to the Treatment Room.
  3. The Technician will call you shortly to obtain a history and any relevant information about your pet's visit with us. They may also go over an estimate line-by-line with you at this time OR have you sign a hard copy.
  4. Please make sure to have your phone on, near you, and loud enough so that you can hear it ring!
  5. Our Veterinarians will examine your pet and have the Technician perform the pre-approved diagnostics.
  6. Once we have all results, our Veterinarians will call you to discuss their exam, diagnostic results, and any necessary prescriptions (medications, food, or otherwise) to go home.
  7. Please know that if the Veterinarian makes any changes to the pre-approved estimate- adding or retracting- we will be calling you for approval!
  8. Our Client Care Coordinators in the front will take your payment over the phone and the Technician will once again meet you by the door in order to return your furbaby to you, hand over your invoice, and go over any medications with you.


Technician Appointments:

  1. Park curbside and call us (813-908-5433) to check-in!

  3. The Technician will perform the services requested and maybe sneak a few cuddles in...
  4. Our Client Care Coordinators in the front will take your payment over the phone and the Technician will once again meet you by the door in order to return your furbaby to you, hand over your invoice, and go over any medications with you.


Prescription Medications and Food Requests:

  1. After requesting a refill on PetDesk, please wait to be notified that your order is ready for pickup via a PetDesk app push notification, SMS Text Message, or Email.
  2. Once you are parked curbside to pick up your order, call us (813-908-5433) and let us know that you have arrived.
  3. Our Client Care Coordinators will take payment over the phone and bring your refill order to you along with your paid invoice!​​​​​​​
